As of July 2021[update], there were about 14,500 electric vehicles in Ohio.[1]
Charging stations[edit]
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, signed into law in November 2021, allocates US$140 million to charging stations in Ohio.[2]
Manufacturing[edit]
Ohio was historically a manufacturing hub for gasoline-powered cars, which has led many electric vehicle manufacturers to establish manufacturing hubs in the state.[3][2][4][5][6][7][8]
