Point Horror is an upcoming horror anthology series based on the R.L. Stine novel series of the same name. It will air exclusively on HBO Max.
Premise[edit]
The series is an anthology that is said to expose the horrors of being a teenager. Each episode is inspired by books in the series, specifically those written by R.L. Stine. It will also be set in the 1990s, the era that the original books were published.
Development[edit]
Variety first reported that a Point Horror series was in development for HBO Max on November 12th, 2019 to be produced by Lionsgate Television and Picturestart under the working title Point Fear.[1]
