Dusk Lycanroc begin doing the album since Late 2001, Dusk Lycanroc doing composing music with Jayden Spineson along with Tony Lionheart, Jayden Spineson written tracks through 2, 5, 7, 13, and Tony Lionheart written tracks through 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, The b sides are also included on the album for Platinum edition, violence edition, and Bloody edition, A song "Bloodstream" is interpolated from an song "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed, and "Heart Ripped, you Die" is interpolated from the song called "Heartless Creature" by Green Flash band, Dusk Lycanroc broke down a album saying "Poison and Death is about getting air intoxicated, and poisonous, and someone being affected and can't breathe" The violence edition and Bloody edition shows Music videos of "Heart Ripped, You Die" and "Bloodstream" except "Poison and Death" although "Poison and Death" music video did appear on Platinum Edition of Poison and Death
