History[edit]
Poisson was opened in April 2022 by restauranteurs Geoffrey Wecx and Pierre Bolly of restaurant group 159 Atas, who also opened the restaurants Cochon and Bouef.[1][2] The menu was curated by Weckx and the executive chef of the restaurant is Ma Yee Khang.[3]
Reception[edit]
Jamie Ee of The Business Times gave the restaurant a 6 out of 10, stating, "Poisson could accomplish a lot more if it pushes the seafood agenda with more clarity and purpose, and focus on ingredient quality and building a stronger menu."[4] Wong Ah Yoke of The Straits Times gave the restaurant a positive review, recommending the Ama course.[5] Emily Seow of City Nomads gave the restaurant a positive review.[6] Jethro Kang of Lifestyle Asia gave the restaurant a positive review, despite the cost of the food.[7]
