Pokitto is a DIY handheld game console focused on education.[1] [2] [3] It is based on open source software and has been funded on Kickstarter on May 28 2017. [4] It is similar to Arduboy, but its hardware is more powerful and capable of e.g. GameBoy emulation. [5]

  • 256 KB program memory
  • 36 KB RAM
  • 4 KB EEPROM (persistent storage)

  • 7 buttons (4 directional plus A, B and C buttons)
  • Li-Po battery
  • USB port

Pokitto is typically programmed using mbed online IDE.
