Poni Chakma (born 24 April 2005) is a Bangladeshi singer. She was a top five finalist in the Channel-i reality show Gaaner Raja and achieved 4th position. She made her debut song "Alo" with Imran Mahmudul and received a huge response.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Early life and career
Poni Chakma was born in Khagrachhari Zila. She was very fond of music since childhood. Her mother also had a willingness to make her a singer. After that, she started to learn singing from Depak Chakrabarty. When she was in class three, her family moved to Rangamati for her father’s job. Later, she started to learn singing from Sir Shuresh Tripura. She is currently studying at Lakers Public School and College. In 2018, she participated in the musical reality show Gaaner Raja and achieved 4th position. After the success of Gaaner Raja, she made her first debut with singer Imran Mahmudul. She has released her first original song along with Imran.[8][9]
