Poorvika is a chain of mobile phone stores with headquarters in Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 2004 by Uvaraj Natarajan and Kanni Uvaraj, the current CEO and Managing Director. Poorvika sells mobile phones of domestic and international brands including Apple,Xiaomi,Redmi BlackBerry, HTC, Karbonn Mobiles, Micromax, Motorola, Samsung, and Sony.

History[edit]

In 2004, Poorvika opened the first showroom in Chennai. It now has 259 outlets in 65 cities in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karnataka. It also has branches in Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Trichy, Madurai, Tirupur, Karur, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Salem, Hosur, Viluppuram, and Erode.[1]

The company's website launched in February 2007, with all products and services provided by Poorvika in their stores made available on the website.

In November 2015, the US smartphone vendor InFocus signed a deal with Poorvika for exclusive distribution in India.[2]

In September 5, 2017, Tecno Mobile joins hands with Poorvika[3]

In October 10, 2017, Mobile retailer Poorvika Mobiles ropes in actress Kajal Agarwal as its brand ambassador[4]
