History[edit]

Popcore Games was founded in late 2018 by brothers Johannes and Thomas Heinze. The company focuses on making ad-supported free-to-play games for the iOS and Android. On November 17, 2022, the company was acquired by Zynga-owned company Rollic Games, a mobile game developer from Istanbul.[2]

Popcore has over half a million downloads across the world. Two of their games, Parking Jam 3D and Pull the Pin!, have reached the spot of the most-downloaded US IoS game.[3] Additionally, their game Sandwich! topped the Android download charts.[4]

Games[edit]

One of Popcore's most notable games, "Pull the Pin!", is a puzzle game in which the player must remove a series of pins from a structure to get a stack of beads to fall into a jar. "Parking Jam 3D" is a game where you must remove a parking lot full of cars, often with obstacles such as an old lady crossing the street.
