Popular Autonomy Movement
The Popular Autonomy Movement (Italian: Movimento Autonomia Popolare, MAP) is a minor regionalist and Christian-democratic political party in Italy, based in Trentino. Its founding leaders were Luciano Pilati, economist at the University of Trento, and Guido Calliari.
It was formed in 2006 as a split from the Autonomist People's Union.[1] For the 2008 provincial election the party formed a joint list with Autonomist Trentino, namely "Popular Autonomists", in support of Sergio Divina (Lega Trentino, centre-right coalition) for President of Trentino,[2] but gained a mere 0.3% of the vote.[3]
