The Italian Movement of Social Unity (Movimento Italiano di Unità Sociale, MIUS) was a neo-fascist political party in Italy.
The MIUS was founded on 12 November 1946 by Giorgio Almirante, Cesco Giulio Baghino, Mario Cassiano, Giorgio Bacchi, Elio Lodolini and a few other comrades, veterans of the Italian Social Republic. The party was founded in order to give a formal role to its representatives, who were supposed to attend the meeting of 26 December in the Arturo Michelini's office for the foundation of the Italian Social Movement.
On 26 December 1946 the MIUS merged into the MSI along with the Italian's Front (Fronte dell'Italiano), led by Giovanni Tonelli, the Work's Front (Fronte del Lavoro), the Labor Union of Italian Rail Workers (Unione Sindacale Ferrovieri Italiani), the Independent Veterans Group (Gruppo Reduci Indipendenti) and other minor groups.[1]
