Praise Akinlami (born 1999) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, author, tutor, and civil engineer by training. He is known for his advocacy for the financial freedom of young people.[1]
Early life
Born in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, his father Mr Oyeyemi Akinlami was a civil servant; his mother, Mrs Opeyemi Akinlami was a businesswoman from whom he developed all his business and entrepreneurial inspiration. She died in 2006. The loss of his mother at a young age led him to experience independence early on. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2020.[1]
Career
Akinlami has actively participated in academic and advocacy spheres, including a May 2024 appearance on Arise TV covering a training event organized by the EA Foundation in Abuja. At the event, themed "Voice of The Future: Amplifying Youth Leadership," he spoke on the importance of investment for youth development. His appearance on Arise TV brought his insights to a national audience.[1]
In 2022, Selar named Akinlami a top 100 digital creator and author of that year.[1]
In 2022, Akinlami founded Profitify Consulting Ltd. a marketing firm focused on providing digital solutions for individuals and businesses, particularly in the entertainment and renewable energy sectors.[2]
