Prakash Ambegaonkar
Prakash Ambegaonkar is the founder and CEO of Bridging Nations, a non-partisan, non-profit policy organization based in Washington, D.C. that explores ways to facilitate cooperation in an increasingly interdependent and multipolar world.[1][not in citation given]
Previously, he founded three technology companies. Tellus Technologies was one of the first software companies in India; while E-Lock created the digital signature products; Frontier Technologies was an Intranet company. Ambegaonkar was named Inc.'s Regional Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995.[citation needed]
Ambegaonkar is the founder and honorary CEO of the Bridging Nations Foundation, a think-tank in Washington, D.C. that focuses on the issues of leadership, technology and education, working to make education a universal birthright.
Ambegaonkar received two master's degrees in electrical and industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Marquette University. He lives in McLean, Virginia with his wife Nunda.[2][not in citation given]
