Pranab Kr Nath (Bengali: প্রণব কর নাথ) (born 18 December 1991 in Sabroom, Tripura, India) is an Indian Singer also actor, filmmaker, musician, and content creator known for emotionally driven, socially conscious storytelling. A graduate of IGNOU (Agartala) and Tripura University, he transitioned from engineering to creative media in his early 20s, producing short films and social‑awareness videos on YouTube and Facebook that gained popularity across Northeast India.[1][2]

Early life

Pranab Kr Nath was born in Sabroom, a small town in South Tripura, into a Bengali Hindu family. His parents, Premtosh Nath and Kalpana Nath, raised him alongside his brother Pradip Nath. He spent his formative years in Sabroom, where his early interest in creative expression—particularly music and acting—was nurtured through family support Nath completed his schooling at Harina Higher Secondary School in Tripura before enrolling at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Agartala Regional Centre, where he pursued his undergraduate studies. Later, he obtained a master’s degree from Tripura University. Initially preparing for a career in engineering, Nath gradually shifted his focus to the arts during his college years, experimenting with short videos alongside friends. His first self-made video, created casually in college, received mixed reactions—but propelled him to refine his craft. Despite early criticism, Nath persevered and began producing short films and social-awareness content that resonated with audiences in Northeast India.[3][4]
