Prasanth Philip Alexander also known as Alexander Prasanth (born 2 November 1979) is an Indian film actor and character artist appearing in Malayalam films.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Prasanth was born to Rev. K P Alexander and Leelamma at Thiruvalla, Kerala. He had his education at Marthoma College , Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta. He was the 2nd rank holder from Kodaikanal Christian College in MA Media Communication and Management. He started his career as an anchor in a program named Crazy Records which was telecasted on Asianet in 2002. [2] And he continued to anchor a family gameshow Valkannadi, which was a huge hit of that time. He debuted into the big screen through the malayalam movie Nammal in 2002.
Career[edit]
He started his career as an anchor later he debuted to big screen in 2002 through the movie Nammal, he did a supporting role alongside with Sidharth Bharathan and Jishnu Raghavan. In 2006, he acted in the movie Achanurangatha Veedu which bagged the state award for the second best film that year. Other character roles are in Ordinary Movie as a jeep driver and also in the movie Best Actor as an assistant director in 2010.[3] His major break in the film industry was a character in the movie Action Hero Biju as Jose pottakkuzhy in 2016 and sealed his position as a supporting actor through MLA Cleetus in Vysakh's Madhura Raja in 2019. His cameo in the movie The Great Father directed by Haneef Adeni[4] was a witty one.He debuted in Bollywood through ace director Raj Kumar Guptas India's Most Wanted.He played the character of a south indian IB officer 'Pillai' in the movie which was a primary role along with Arjun Kapoor. He is an actor who is known for his versatalities.
