Prashant Walde is an Indian film actor, writer, producer[2][3] and a Mimicry Artist.[4] He is known as Shah Rukh Khan's body double[5] or doppelganger[6] and has been working as such in Bollywood for 15 years.[7][8]
Early life
Prashant Walde is from Nagpur, and he pursued an engineering degree. His father is a doctor and his older brother is an engineer. Being a choreographer, Walde ran a dance academy called Dynamic Dance Academy in Nagpur.[9][10]
Career
In 2007, he came to Mumbai and started his journey as a body double[11] of Shahrukh Khan in Bollywood.[12] He worked in films such as Don 2, Chennai Express, Fan, etc.[13][14] He made his debut in Bollywood as a lead with the movie Premaatur[15][16][17] and dedicated this movie to SRK.[18] Currently, he is busy shooting for SRK’s upcoming film Pathan[19] [20] as a body double due to the absence of Shahrukh Khan.[21][22]
