Prateek Chakravorty is an Indian Film director, producer, screenwriter and actor who mainly works in the Indian film industry.
Early life
Prateek Chakravorty was born and raised in Mumbai. He was heavily influenced by his grandfather’s legacy. He is the grandson of Indian film industry director and producer Pramod Chakravorty. After pursuing his postgraduate education in Australia and returning with an MBA to understand the business end of filmmaking, he started as an assistant director to some prominent makers.[1]
Film career
Prateek Chakravorty started his career as a film producer, director, actor & writer in 2012 with his film From Sydney with Love. This film earned the title of IPAWD.[2] He produced Tamil film Lakshmi in 2018.[3]
Since then he has successfully produced feature films, TV shows and web content in a variety of languages across India. In 2021, Prateek produced R. Madhavan's starring Maara with Shruti Nallappa.[4][5]
