Preamble, Inc.
Preamble Inc. is a software company that provides a safety layer for artificial intelligence (AI) systems by applying safety and security policies and integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) to control the output of systems like ChatGPT, Claude, GPT-4, and other AI-as-a-Service applications.[1][2][3]
Preamble was co-founded by Jonathan Rodriguez in 2020 who is the co-founder and CEO of Preamble.[4] He also co-founded Vergence Labs in 2014 and was in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list of 2017.[5] Trousdale Ventures, a privately held investment firm invested in Preamble in 2021.[6][3]
Prompt injection attacks were first discovered by Preamble, Inc. in May 2022, and a responsible disclosure was provided to OpenAI.[7]
