Premjit Sen
Premjit Sen is the president of the Karate-Do Association of Bengal.[1][2] [3] He has received his 7th Dan from World Karate Federation.
A Gold Medalist in the National Karate E-Kata Championships[4][3]
He got promoted to the highest rank as ‘A’ Grade referee & judge of Kumite and Kata respectively in World Karate Federation (WKF) at the 26th World Karate Championship, held in Dubai from 16th to 21st November 2021. Karate India Organisation (KIO) appointed him as the Chairman of the Referee Commission, KIO is the permanent member of WKF and the only authentic National Federation for the game of Karate in India. Sen is the first person from Bengal in India to become an ‘A’ Grade Referee & Judge of Kumite and Kata in the World Karate Federation.[5]
In 2020, Premjit Sen led a fundraiser on behalf of the Karate community of India and contributed to the Prime Ministers Relief Fund and West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund.[6]
He has also been elected as the president of the Hapkido Association of India.[7]
Karate1 Premiere League Held In Fujairah appointed Premjit Sen to officiate as the Referee commission chairman[8]
