Presearch is a search engine based on blockchain technology, intending to use a combination of artificial intelligence and human review to rank pages.[1]
It launched as a closed beta on November 15th 2017 for a limited audience and opened up for a public beta on April 9th 2018. The closed beta had 15'000 users join by word of mouth and the open beta aims for 100,000 users by end of May 2018.[2]
Details about the search engine's concept, the project and the Canadian company behind it, Presearch.org Global Limited, is outlined in a white paper titled "Presearch Whitepaper".[3]
Source code of the smart contract (ERC20 based) behind the Presearch Token (PRE) is available on Github.[4]
