Pretend is an American rock band consisting of Joel Morgan, Timothy Ramirez, Luke Palascak, and Denver Billing. Formed in 2004 in Thousand Oaks, California, the band combines elements of Indie rock, Math rock, and Post-rock. Their debut album, Bones in the Soil, Rust in the Oil, was self-released in 2009.[1] In 2015, Pretend signed to Topshelf Records to release their second album, Tapestry'd Life.[2] The band's third album, Circular Ræsoning was initially released on vinyl under pre end records. Circular Ræsoning was later released on cassette under Joyless Youth Home Recordings in 2018.
