Davana E. Excell (born October 13, 1991), better known by her stage name Pretty Vee or Vena E., is an Jamaican-American comedian, host, actress, brand ambassador, and internet personality, and social media influencer.

Early life[edit]

Pretty Vee’s career began in college at the St. Augustine University where she launched her own radio show on WAUG Power 750 AM “Lounge 22”. Her show featured a mix of smooth R&B classics from the 80s and 90s. Upon graduating from St. Augustine with a degree in mass communications, she interned with the highly rated V-103, better known as The People’s Station, in Atlanta, Georgia. There she honed her comedic craft, which she utilizes to this day, and secured a job offer with 107.9 in North Carolina. From there she started her own radio show called The VXL Show that aired weekly at 5 p.m. on TheNetStation.com. With her increased popularity, she was able to travel across the United States to build her brand and social media following.

As a result of her increased exposure, she became a regular cast member on Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘n Out, which airs on MTV and she tours the country with the show. She is currently a regular cast member on the show. Additionally, she was featured on Nick Cannon Presents “The Women of Wild ‘n Out” in 2021. Following her rise and success on Wild ‘n Out, Pretty Vee successfully ventured into the music industry and has been featured on a variety of albums and songs by top selling and influential artists and musicians, including Chance the Rapper, Queen Naija, and Lil Kim.

Pretty Vee has released several songs via Apple Music and other music streaming services and has several collaborations with other artist including Pardi and Polo G.
