Bagrat (Georgian: ბაგრატი) (1565 – 22 May 1578) was a Georgian royal prince (batonishvili) and heir apparent of Bagrationi dynasty of the Kingdom of Imereti. Son of King George II of Imereti and a grandson of King Bagrat III of Imereti. He married, in 1573, a daughter of Levan I Dadiani, with no known issue.[1] Bagrat's early death which appears to result from suspicious circumstances or unknown cause led an inheritance of a throne succession passing down to his younger brother, future King Levan of Imereti.
