Pro Short
Pro Short is the Swiss Association for short films, the interest group and lobby for short films in Switzerland.[1].
Pro Short was founded in January 2017 during the Solothurn Film Festival; following the Locarno Film Festival 2017, the board made its first public appearance.[2]
The board is made up of representatives of various professions such as direction, production, programming and acting from the various parts of Switzerland.
Since spring 2019, the association emplyes a general secretary, which is endowed with a part-time workload[3]
Members[edit]
Any person who is involved with or interested in short film can become a member; the association is open to members of all professions (namely direction, screenplay, technology, distribution, curation, festival). Companies or institutions can also become members as such (for example production companies, film festivals, universities).
