Project Fear is an American paranormal reality television series that is set to air on YouTube in 2023. The series is from the creators and cast of Destination Fear, and is set to be a follow-up after the Travel Channel announced the cancellation of Destination Fear, with the new project set to air on YouTube.[1] On March 19, 2023, Dakota Laden set up a Kickstarter campaign to make the new show a reality, and within 2 hours of publishing, the campaign hit it's funding goal. As of March 21, 2023, the project was 350% funded.[2]

Premise[edit]

Project Fear is set to be a paranormal documentary series featuring Dakota Laden and his team of paranormal enthusiasts, including his sister, Chelsea Laden, and friends Tanner Wiseman and Alex Schroeder. In a very similar way to Destination Fear, the team will take to the road in an RV, visiting a number of reportedly haunted and paranormal hotspots across the United States, as well as International Locations, testing the limits of human fear.

The team have promised that Project Fear will be a "familiar road trip and overnight experience" to that of Destination Fear, but with "longer overnights, uncensored screams and raw emotions".[2]
