Prolifics Testing is a software testing company offering a range of services, including performance testing, functional testing and security testing, to clients both within the UK and worldwide. Prolifics Testing, formerly e-testing Consultancy, was acquired in 2017 by Prolifics,[1] a global IT service management company with offices in the US, Canada, India, and Germany.

Prolifics Testing also provides accredited software training courses to teams and individuals. A partner of the British Computer Society (BCS),[2] the company delivers ISTQB and iSQI courses developed in-house by certified consultants.

About[edit]

The company uses automated testing tools to conduct tests swiftly and affordably, both open source and proprietary. Their "Test Accelerators", offered free of charge as part of the testing process, enable automation of the entire testing life-cycle, and integrate with all major test management tools, including Micro Focus Quality Center and Jira. For instance, BA360, Prolifics Testing's machine learning and predictive analytics accelerator, can slash the time taken to test projects by as much as 98%.[3]

Clients and partnerships[edit]

Over the past two decades, Prolifics Testing has worked with many high-profile clients, including McKesson, Deloitte and Lloyds Banking Group.[4] The company is partnered with Micro Focus, Sauce Labs and Ranorex, among others.[5] Through its parent organisation, Prolifics Testing is a Platinum Business Partner with IBM, a Consulting Partner with AWS, and a Systems Integrator Partner with MuleSoft.[6]

In May 2020, Prolifics was the winner of the IBM Cloud Excellence Award at the first-ever virtual IBM Think conference.[7]

News[edit]

In August 2020, Prolifics Testing conducted a study to identify the most in-demand technology jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.[8] Their findings featured in articles published by Business Insider,[9] Entrepreneur,[10] and Datanami,[11] among others.[12][13][14]
