Protegent 360 (known as simply Protegent) is an antivirus software created by Indian company Unistal Systems Pvt Ltd. It is divided into three versions, the regular version, “Total Security”, and “Complete Security”. The antivirus is most famously represented by its mascot, Proto, who until 2020 used to be a ripoff of Whyatt Beanstalk from the show Super Why!.

Protegent 360 is most well known for in meme culture for its commercials. Currently, there are three 3D animated commercials, while the rest are 2D animated.
One of the most well-known commercials was released in 2016 and features a man whose computer crashes, who says that he had an antivirus. Suddenly out of thin air, Protoappears and tells him that "antivirus is not enough", and also mentions that Protegent has data recovery software. The commercial then says to "think beyond antivirus, think Protegent." It has been used in multiple memes like the “Yes” meme, where it has a frame of the Unnamed Business Man sitting with the caption “Yes”.
Another commercial is 2D animated and says at the start:
"Are your Students safe in School....?
Being a Teacher is not enough......
Be Responsible"
The commercial starts with some children using computers in school. One child named Rahul is looking at people kissing (which is considered as inappropriate). After the class leaves, the teacher looks at her students' browsing history. On one of the computers, however, she sees links to inappropriate content. She speaks to the headmistress, who says that this behaviour must stop. Suddenly, once again, Proto comes out of thin air, introduces himself, and tells the two teachers about Protegent, which supposedly has a feature which monitors computer activity and sends a log via email to an assigned address. The next day, Rahul again decides to look at "inappropriate" content on a computer. Proto reminds the teacher that inappropriate content is being looked at on one of the computers. The teacher comes over to Rahul and tells him off, who apologizes and says that he will never repeat his actions. Rahul says thanks to Proto for saving him from going in the wrong direction, and the teacher says thanks as well to Proto for allowing the school to gain parents' trust.
The commercial ends, with a message at the end saying: "It's Time to think beyond Antivirus"
[[:Category:Status of Legitimacy]]Throughout Protegent's history, there have been some rumors that the antivirus is a scam rather than a working antivirus. While it is debatable if this is true, it does work, but barely detects anything at times.
