History[edit]

Dr. Charles Kingery and Mrs. Jean Kingery met 14-year old Muniswamy, near the street on a flat-platform with four wheels in 1986 in Bangalore tending his uncle’s sheep, which he did for his living. They realized their mission to help people with disabilities in Bangalore, and proVISION ASIA was established in 1988. Pediatric chairs, sports wheelchairs and various sizes of manual wheelchairs are fitted on each individual to assure the best mobility. As they contribute in this way to society, they are rehabilitated. proVISION ASIA hosts monthly wheelchair distributions in various areas of our community, to those in need.
