Pseudo Slang is an underground hip hop group from Chicago, by way of Buffalo, New York, United States of America that has released recordings on Fat Beats, The Secret Life of Sound, Sub-Bombin Records and others. The group consists of lyricist Emcee Sick and DJ Form. Their first group effort was the independently released "Catalogue". After signing to Fat Beats in 2004, they released the single "Broke & Copasetic" featuring Vinia Mojica as well as independently released the EP "Thank God It's Not Another Mixtape" with Buffalo label Baby Steps Hip Hop. The long-awaited Pseudo Slang full-length album "We'll Keep Looking" was released spring 2009 on Fat Beats Records. Tone Atlas has since released an instrumental album of unused Pseudo Slang instrumentals, entitled "Moar Beets" on the indie label, Deep Thinka Records.[1]
Newer releases on Sub-Bombin and The Secret Life of Sound feature production by Rawhead, Paw Cut, Grap Luva and Maker.
