The Puerto Rican Football Federation Preparatory Tournament (Spanish: Torneo Preparatorio de la Federación) is a football competition that began in March 2018 and it serves as a preparation tournament for the local clubs that will participate on the 2018-19 Puerto Rican Football Federation season.[1]
Overview[edit]
The first edition of the domestic competition began in March 2018. Bayamón FC, CD Barbosa, GPS Guaynabo, Leal Arecibo FC, Metropolitan FA, Don Bosco FC, Guaynabo Gol, Criollos de Caguas, Mirabelli SA and Guayama FC are the 10 clubs that entered the competition.
Bayamón FC became champions on June 10, 2018 after beating GPS Guaynabo 1-0 at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium.[2]
