The Puerto Rico Cup is a global invitational tournament for Sub-18 men’s club teams. It is presented by the city of Mayagüez and is held annually in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The 2021 Puerto Rico Cup will take place from 28 December to 2 January.
All matches will be played in Mayagüez Athletics Stadium.
Draw[edit]
The draw of the tournament will be held on 28 November 2021. The eight teams will drawn into two groups of four teams. The hosts Puerto Rico will be seeded into Groups A.
Format[edit]
The eight invited teams are split into two groups to play a round-robin tournament. Points awarded in the group stage follow the standard formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. In the case of two teams being tied on the same number of points in a group, their head-to-head result determine the higher place.
