Pugazh or Vijay tv Pugazh is a comedian and actor who primarily works in the Tamil industry. He is mainly known for his mimicry and standup comedy in Star Vijay’s television reality show named Sirippu Da. He is also in Cooku with Comali as a Comali.
Early life[edit]
He was born and brought up in a middle-class family from Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, India. His early schooling was at St. Joseph Excessive School. Tamil Nadu and Sri Padaleswarar Increased Secondary School, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. After that, he enrolled himself at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli from where he completed his graduate course.
Pugazh went to chennai and did daily work for his survival. Later, he got a job in a water wash shed near Prasad studios. He met his longtime friend named Baana Kaathadi famous Udhaya Raj and got an opportunity to attend the Kalakka Povathu Yaaru - Season 6 audition but was not selected.
Career[edit]
Pugazh rose to prominence after featuring on the cooku with comali shows. However, he loves acting and is talented in miming and stand-up comedy. He had the opportunity to meet his longtime friend Udhaya Raj of Baana Kaathadi fame and to attend the Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Season 6 audition, but he failed to deliver his talent on stage. But Pugazh worked hard and got a job as a computer serviceman on Vijay TV, where he also appeared in Sirippu Da show alongside Dheena. Finally, he jumped at the chance to play Anniyan’s role as a lady who attracted the audience’s attention. Following his success in the Kpy Final, he was given the opportunity to compete in the Cooku with Comali shows with all of the contestants. He took advantage of an opportunity and delivered a good performance, winning him a chance in the movies. Vijay tv has given many talents to Tamil cinema while a few have sustained in the film industry, others returned back to television. Today's big stars like Sivakarthikeyan and Santhanam started their journey on Vijay tv. Ma Ka Pa Anand also tried his luck in cinema but he couldn't shine big and hence, he has returned to television. Now, Pugazh who rose to fame with Cooku With Comali has been offered several films in Tamil cinema with his debut movie called Sixer then with Cocktail, Kaithi, Sabhaapathy and he is busy with movies of Thala Ajith Kumar's Valimai , Vijay Sethupathi's VJS46 [1] , Cooku with Comali fame Ashwin's Enna Solla Pogirai, Kasethan Kadavulada remake with Shiva and more.
Personal life[edit]
He is a Brother from another mother of the super singer and CWC famous Sivaangi Krishnakumar. The hard work they do makes all members of the family Stress-Free during this COVID-19 situation.
He had recently bought his First car, the Hyundai “Creta” and he shared an emotional message about it on his YouTube channel.
