The Purple Moose Brewery (Welsh Y Bragdy Mws Piws) is a brewery in Porthmadog, Wales.[2] Founded by Lawrence Washington in 2005, the brewery owns its own pub, The Australia, and a share in Albion Ale House in Conwy, which it co-owns alongside Bragdy Nant, Great Orme Brewery and Conwy Brewery. [3]
Most of its beers are sold from casks in pubs, though bottles can also be bought from its shop and other outlets for home drinking.[4]

- Snowdonia Ale (3.6% abv)
- MŴSH (lager (4.7% abv)
- Madog’s Ale (3.7 abv)
- Glaslyn Ale (4.2% abv)
- Chocolate Moose (Stout) (4.5% abv)
- Black Rock (Stout) (4.2% abv)
- Antlered IPA (5.2% ABV)
There are also many guest and seasonal beers which can be sought from the brewery shop, from the pubs owned by the brewery or from pubs throughout Wales.
Purple Moose is also stocked in some pubs in England.[5]
In 2021, Purple Moose branched out into distilling spirits; Spirit of the Moose/ Ysbryd y Mŵs is distilled from India Pale Ale and is 41% abv.[6]
