Purwacaraka (born 31 March 1960) is an Indonesian musician and composer. He is the older brother of fellow singer and composer Trie Utami. His musical works in the form of songwriting and illustrations often adorn Indonesian films and soap operas. He is the holder of the patent rights for the music school, Purwacaraka Music Studio, with as many as 50 branches in various cities.
Music has indeed become his flesh and blood. One proof of his loyalty to music is that he founded a music school, Purwacaraka Music Studio. After developing for more than 30 years, Purwacaraka can now be proud because about 50 branches of his music school have spread across various major cities in Indonesia.[1]
