Pushpa 2: The Rule is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action drama film[1] written and directed by Sukumar, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, it stars Allu Arjun as the titular character alongside Sai Pallavi, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is being made under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.[2] The second installment of the two-part series, it is a sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise.[3]

Development[edit]
In May 2021, the makers announced that the film would be releasing in two parts with the second installment releasing in 2022.[7] At the end of the first part, the film's title was revealed as Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film was then officially launched in August 2022 with a traditional pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.[8]
Filming[edit]
Even though a few scenes of Pushpa 2 were already filmed prior to the release of the first part, Sukumar stated that he altered the story a bit and that he was going to reshoot the entire film.[9] Principal photography for the film is scheduled to commence in October 2022.[10]
