Pushpam Priya Choudhary is an Indian politican, president and founder of the Plurals Party.[1][2] She is the youngest daughter of Janata Dal (United) leader Vinod Choudhary[3] and was a CM candidate in the current 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election contested from the Bankipur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) and the Bisfi (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[4]

Early life and career[edit]

Pushpam Priya Choudhary is the daughter of Vinod Choudhary, a JD(U) MLC leader,[5] she did Masters in Development Studies from University of Sussex, Masters in Public Administration from London School of Economics and Bachelors in Communication Design from Symbiosis International University, Pune, Maharashtra.[6]
Her grandfather Umashankar Choudhary was with Nitish Kumar when the later co-founded the Samata Party in 1994 and contested on the Janata Dal (United) ticket.[7]

Political career[edit]

Pushpam Priya Choudhary founded Plurals Party 8 March 2020 and contested 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election from 2 constituencies where she lost at both while her party just got 5189 votes in total.[8]

She had promised to turn the state into Europe by 2030, if her Plurals Party comes to majority in election she promised to turn the state into Europe by 2030.[9][10]

She alleged that the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) was "hacked" and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of "rigging" the election.[11][12][13]
