Pyridyl disulfide is a chemical compound composed of a sulfide and a pyridyl (C5H4N). In this compound, one hydrogen atom is absent from the pyridine molecule,[vague] and the replacement of the absent atom is with sulfide.[contradictory]

In the process of PEGylation, heterobifunctional PEGs can be terminated by a pyridyl disulfide compound.[contradictory][1][2][3]
