QC Entertainment is an American production & finance company founded by veteran producers Sean McKittrick, Raymond Mansfield[1], and Edward H. Hamm Jr. The company is known for producing Spike Lee's 2018 film BlacKkKlansman, and Jordan Peele's 2017 horror film Get Out.[2]

Overview[edit]

QC Entertainment was founded by producers Sean McKittrick, Raymond Mansfield and Edward H. Hamm Jr. in 2016. QC - standing for "Quality Control" - is a film & television production & finance company.[3]

In 2017, QC Entertainment produced and financed Get Out, marking Jordan Peele’s feature directorial debut, from his original screenplay. The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and went on to win an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

In 2018 QC Entertainment released BlacKkKlansman. QC optioned the rights to Ron Stallworth's autobiography, and developed it into the feature film with writers Charlie Wachtel and David Rabinowitz.[4] The film premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival[5],and received an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, and 5 additional nominations.

In 2018, QC Entertainment released The Oath, written and directed by Ike Barinholtz marking his feature directorial debut, starring Ike Barinholtz, Tiffany Haddish and John Cho.[6]

In 2019, QC Entertainment secured the rights to the best-selling book 'Wanderers', which will serve as QC's first and landmark television property,[7] as well as produce Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz's directorial debut Antebellum for Lionsgate.[8] Most recently, QC signed a deal with Paramount Pictures.[9]
