QSAN Technology Inc. (Chinese: 廣盛科技) is a Taiwanese technology company specializing in All-Flash Array, Storage area network (SAN) and Network-attached storage (NAS). The company is headquartered in the Taipei, Taiwan.
Company history[edit]
QSAN was founded in 2004 in Taiwan, initially focusing on RAID controllers. The company gradually expanded its focus to include full RAID storage arrays. In 2009, QSAN launched its own-branded dual controller active/active which is also called redundacy SAN product. In 2017, it launched its first tower Network-attachment storage (NAS). In 2018, it launched its first all-flash array system, XCubeFAS.[1]

XCubeSAN[edit]
XCubeSAN launched the first series XS5200 in 2016[2], it is the fourth generation Storage area network (SAN) system of the company. The XCubeSAN is dual-active (Active-Active) Storage area network (SAN) systems, available in 2U, 3U, and 4U. It provides three series at different levels, XS1200, XS3200, and XS5200. They are designed to the applications of virtualization integration, or media and entertainment environment.
XCubeNAS[edit]
XCubeNAS has a wide variety of form factors, including rackmount and tower series. This is the first time of the company to launch the tower model and won the Good Design Award in 2018[3]. XCubeNAS’s operating system QSAN Storage Manager 3 (QSM 3) is a Linux based software and uses ZFS as its file system. QSM 3 brings enterprise-level features to the SMB market like automated storage tiering, data deduplication etc.
