Qatalog (pronounced /ˈkætəˌlɔg/) is a web-based virtual workplace software,[1] designed to help teams (including remote teams)[2] consolidate and manage their work in one place (work hub),[3] as well as facilitate asynchronous collaboration.

    History and funding[edit]

Qatalog was founded in September 2019 by Tariq Rauf in London.[4][1]

In July 2019, $3.5M was raised in a seed round led by Mosaic Ventures.[5] In October 2020 $15M was raised from Atomico, Salesforce Ventures and angel investors from Wise, Eventbrite, Indeed, Twilio, iZettle, Getprice.[1]

In January 2021 Qatalog was added to the Otta Rocket list of 50 of the fastest-growing companies in London to accelerate your career in 2021.[6] In April 2021, Qatalog co-authored Gitlab Remote Work Report 2021[7] In May 2021, Qatalog was named a 2021 Gartner Cool Vendor for Digital Workplace Strategy and Applications. According to Gartner, “Remote and hybrid work amplify challenges in coordinating teams as the needs for flexibility around time, place and technology affect everyone.”[8]

In June 2021, Qatalog and Cornell University’s Ellis Idea Lab released a study on how software affects the way we manage, access, share, and create knowledge at work.[9]
