The Quartermain Earth Science Centre is an Earth science museum located within the Forestry and Geology building at the University of New Brunswick’s Fredericton Campus in New Brunswick, Canada.[1][2] Opened in June 2011, the museum was made possible by a contribution from UNB alumnus Robert Quartermain.[1][2]
The museum uses displays and interactive exhibits to showcase geoscience and geoengineering concepts, promotes Earth Science literacy, and nurtures curiosity and understanding of Earth and Environmental science for people of all ages.[3]
The museum manages the fossil, rock, and mineral collections, as well as operates the outreach programs for visiting students and the public.[3]
