Quei Tann (born August 21, 1999) is an Film Actor, best known for her role as Genifer on the Netflix satirical-drama series Dear White People. She also starred as Peyton Osborne in the sixth season of the ABC legal drama series How to Get Away with Murder.[1] In 2018, she alongside Madeline Brewer played Lucky Duck in the Netflix horror film Cam.[2]

Career[edit]

Tann moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and soon began a career in film and television. She competed for Nevada in the TransNation Queen USA 2016 pageant.[3][4] She played the character of Lucky Duck in the 2018 horror film Cam produced by Blumhouse Productions and was released exclusively on Netflix. In fall 2018, she was cast in the third season of Dear White People where she plays Genifer, the first transgender character on the series. In 2019, she joined the sixth season cast of How to Get Away with Murder where she plays Peyton Osbourne a young law student at Middleton University. The character goes on to become the main love interest of Gabriel Maddox played by Rome Flynn.[5] [6]
