Quentin Jiun-Ho Cheng (born 20 November 1999) is an Australian-born Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Malaysia Super League side Penang.
Born in Australia, Cheng is of Malaysian descent and has represented Malaysia internationally at under-23 level at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
Club career
Cheng started his football career with Central Coast Mariners in 2014.
Cheng left Central Coast Mariners to join Selangor II.[2][3]
Before the 2021 season, he signed for Penang in the Malaysian top flight.[4]
International
In 2019, Quentin received his national call-up for Malaysia under-23 after being named in the final 20-man squad for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.[5]
Personal life
Born in Australia, both of Cheng's parents are from Malaysia; his father Ken from Johor and his mother Michelle from Ipoh.[6]
