Rêve d'étain

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Rêve d'étain is a book written in French by several hands including writer Radu B., Gregoire Bertholier, Lucas Chancel, Marjorie Mangano.[1] It was published in 2000 and edited by Promots.[2] Drawings are done by artist Gwen Keraval.

The story is a journey in the imagination of a young girl, knocking at the doors of adolescence. The tale walks across the boundary of reality and dreams and mixes anguish with curiosity.

Themes of self-development and travel into one's own subconscious are particularly present in the book. Its originality comes from the fact it was written by several students and their teacher.

This initiatory tale starts in a funfair and drives the heroine towards imaginary landscapes and encounters, it suggests that nothing happens unless first a dream.
