The first restaurant opened in 1998 in Liverpool, Sydney by the founders. Additional locations quickly followed, with stores opening in Campbelltown and Narellan. Famously known for its signature dish, the RASHAYS Chicken.

RASHAYS was established by Rami Ykmour and his wife, Shannon Smith, in 1998. The name of the business is a combination of both names joined together.
Operations
As of December 2018, there are 31 outlets[3] operating in Australia, the majority being in New South Wales, with six shared between Australian Capital Territory[4] and Queensland[5]. Rashays is embarking on further expansion throughout Australia, with a vision to expand internationally.
