Personal Life
Born and belonging to New Delhi, RJ Rekha loves listening to the Radio since childhood at her father's shop situated near their house, and made this hobby her profession. She did her schooling from Delhi's JVSD Girls Sr Sec School, and graduated in commerce from Delhi University.
Professional Life
She is associated with Air FM Gold, Air FM Rainbow as Radio Jockey and with BBC Hindi as Producer/Consultant. She gained a lot of popularity with special shows like "Andaaz-E-Bayaan, Chhoo Mantar, Gaate Gungunate, Phir Gulab Mehke, Radio Reel, Sadabahar Gaane," presented by her on AIR FM Gold, and "BBC Minutes" for BBC Hindi.
As a TV Anchor, she also hosted some special shows like "We The People" Republic Day special show, "Yog Ne Di Zindagi" & "Dhalti Umra Aur Yog" Yoga Day special shows. "Manzar Pas-e Manzar" [1] Urdu Cultural news based show and EID special show on various channels of DD.
Recently, she has also played the role of Nurse in Raveena Tandon starrer Bollywood movie "Maatr" [2], and also worked in an ad film for Ayushman Bharat, also played role of a reporter in the star plus serial Dahleez.
