RK Gupta (born 20 September 1958 in Patiala, Punjab)[1] is a Former Chairman/Managing Director of WAPCOS Limited.
In 2010-2011 WAPCOS won award for ‘Best Consultancy Organization for Outstanding contribution in the field of water in India.[2] In 2014, Ministry of External Affairs and WAPCOS sign agreements for assisting Cambodia in Water Resources Management.[3] A Share Purchase Agreement for the combination of WAPCOS and NPCC has been signed by WAPCOS and RK Gupta in 2019.[4][5]

- RK Gupta received the scope of Excellence Award from the President of India in New Delhi.[6][7]
- Received MoU Excellence Award 2009-2010 from Shri Manmohan Singh, Former Prime Minister of India.[8]
- Conferred with PSE Excellence Award 2016 for “Operational Performance Excellence Award”.[9]
- Conferred with the best CMD of the year Award 2020 at PSE Conclave from Uma Bharti. (Former Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India)[citation needed]
