RPMGlobal Holdings Limited, formerly RungePincockMinarco Limited, is an Australian publicly listed company that provides technical, advisory and training services, laboratory gas testing and software products and services to the resources industry on a global basis.[1] The company has offices in more than 20 locations across 11 countries including Australia, the United States, South America, South Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Russia and Mongolia. RPMGlobal is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange under the code RUL and is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.[2]
History
Pincock, Allen & Holt
Warren Kay Pincock founded his mining consulting business, Pincock, Allen & Holt Inc. (PAH) originally based in Tucson, Arizona in 1972 after working at the Molycorp Questa Mine in New Mexico from 1965 until 1968.[3] In 2005 Runge Limited acquired PAH and it was kept as a wholly owned subsidiary.[4]
Minarco-MineConsult
Minarco-MineConsult (MMC) was an Australian company headquartered in Sydney, New South Wales which was created by the merger of Minarco Asia-Pacific (founded in 1996) and MineConsult (founded in 1991) and specialised in Mining Consulting. MMC was acquired by Runge Limited in 2006 and was kept as a wholly owned subsidiary.[5]
Runge Limited
Runge Limited was started by Dr. Ian Runge in 1977 in Brisbane, Queensland.[6] Runge created mining software technology solutions with the goal of improving mining efficiencies and reducing costs in ways not conceivable in the pre-computer era. Runge released its first mining software solution called XPAC followed soon after by TALPAC in 1979. Runge went on to develop XERAS in 1990, DRAGSIM in 1994, specialised versions of XPAC from 1996 onwards and XACT in 2005. During this period a number of acquisitions and mergers were made including MRM Mining Services (2006), Fractal Technologies (2007) and ResEval (2008). GeoGas was acquired in 2007 and remains a wholly owned subsidiary.[7] Runge Limited became a listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange on the 27th of May, 2008.[8]
RungePincockMinarco
In 2012 Runge along with its wholly owned subsidiaries Pincock, Allen & Holt (Americas) and Minarco-MineConsult (Asia Pacific) were relaunched globally with the new name RungePincockMinarco (RPM).[9] RPM during this time started its transition from being an on-premises software provider to a software as a service business. In 2016 RPM acquired Fewzion, known for its Fewzion Short Interval Control (SIC) and work management software product.[10]
RPMGlobal
A global rebranding of RPM was announced in 2017 to become RPMGlobal.[11] In 2016 RPMGlobal acquired iSolutions and its AMT product.[12] In 2017 RPMGlobal acquired MineOptima[13] and MinVu.[14] In 2020 RPMGlobal acquired two Canadian based software firms, IMAFs[15] and Revolution Mining Software.[16]

RPMGlobal currently offers over 20 individual software solutions.[17] Their most well known products are:
