Search RSG Chess on Amazon.RSG Chess is a cross-platform chess game available for Android, Windows, Linux and for the web. The game is distributed by an open-source organization, called RSG Group, under the Apache 2.0 LICENSE. "RSG Chess" is also known as a group of Chess apps and tools, including the RSG Chess game, Chess APIs, Chess communities and websites, initialized by Radostin Cholakov.[1], 6th grader[2] at that time and published under the RSG Group OSS organization.
The game is written in JavaScript, it's built using the Facebook's React Native framework, the desktop version is built using Electron and the Chess APIs related to the game are powered by Google Cloud Platform. The projects are fully open-sourced.
RSG Chess mobile[edit]
The mobile version of RSG Chess is designed for smartphones and tablets running the Android operating system, or environments related to it. There are two main play modes, single-player and "play vs AI mode"[3]
This version is available for installation on the Google Play Store[4]. The developers of RSG Chess also announced an open alpha/beta testing program, with up to 10000 testers.
RSG Chess desktop[edit]
There's an experimental desktop version of the game, created for offline usage on the most popular desktop platforms and Operating System. It is packaged by the Electron framework and available for download on the official RSG Chess' website.
