Plot
Zafar, a troubled man entangled in drug addiction and crime, waits under a streetlight in an abandoned area late at night. A drug dealer arrives with narcotics, but their transaction is interrupted by the sudden arrival of police officers. The dealer flees, and Zafar is arrested.
At the police station, S.H.O. Aazam Khan interrogates Zafar and discovers a sealed envelope in his possession. The letter inside reveals a deeply personal message, detailing Zafar’s struggles, family conflicts, and descent into addiction. Through his words, he reflects on societal pressures and personal betrayals.
The officers, moved by Zafar’s story, recognize his broken spirit. Instead of severe punishment, they release him, allowing him to walk away with his letter in hand. As he steps out, his journey—marked by pain, regret, and fleeting hope—remains uncertain.[6]
