Rabidfest
Rabidfest is a heavy metal festival that has been held in Oxford, Oxfordshire, UK since 2017. Rabidfest is a not-for-profit organisation that donates its proceeds to selected charities each year. The event promotes new and rising local bands while also showcasing some of the most exciting bands from around the UK.
History
Originally held just outside Oxford at Abingdon United Football Club under the name OXROX ALIVE, the festival reorganised itself as Rabidfest in 2018. The festival did not run in 2018, but the management team was added to in winter 2018 and the first event as Rabidfest was held in August 2019 at The Bullingdon, Oxford, where it has been held ever since. The event continued in 2020 but was forced to reschedule to November 2021 due to COVID-19, and is scheduled to continue in 2022.
